We’ve been at the heart of the beautiful village of Bloxham, close to the village green, since the mid-16^th Century, and our recent refurbishment puts us in great shape to continue this legacy.

A Grade II listed property, The Joiner’s is being sympathetically restored and bought back to its former glory, proudly showcasing many of our original features and offering a warm, home-from-home welcome to local villagers and those from further afield.

Conveniently located just 3 miles from Banbury in North Oxfordshire, we’re just a stone’s throw from the Cotswolds, and within easy access of the M40.

Inside you can dine in our stunning new orangery restaurant or grab a bite in the bar as you see fit; four-legged friends are welcome here too. Plus soak up the sun for drinks and alfresco dining on our expansive patio or hidden garden, complete with rugs for those that wish to snuggle up.

Open all day, every day, the menu at The Joiner’s Arms will feature all your favourite pub classics and legendary Sunday roasts, alongside more fine dining options and an extended grill section. Taking advantage of the local area’s abundance of great suppliers, the seasonally inspired menu with be bursting with freshly prepared dishes and seasonal specials guaranteed to tempt you.

Don't just take our word for it...

Superb Sunday lunch Carvery. Great food and great value. Succulent Roast potatoes and gravy are the specialties very tasty. A choice of three meats which the carver lets you have whatever size portions you require. Then fill your plate with vegetables at least 10 X choices runner beans , carrots , leaks etc all seasonal and locally produced. Great service by the friendly landlord and his family. Overall definitely recommend as the best Carvery in Woking!

We were treated so nicely here. The owner remembered my children’s names and made them feel special. All food is homemade and everyone working here (that we’re aware of) and family members. Food was nice, really reasonable and desserts included in the price, which we usually wouldn’t go for, but couldn’t resist.

A real family friendly pub with a great carvery! They had high chairs and plastic cups available for my 2 year old and even put Peppa Pig on the TV to keep her happy! You can tell the veg were freshly prepared and cooked and I loved having the choice of rare/medium/well done beef. The puddings were enjoyed by all too. The play area was ideal for an after dinner runaround for my daughter. Will definitely return!

This is a good friendly pub and very family friendly. The food is absolutely excellent and the staff our very helpful . They have an excellent garden which has great climbing fram for kids and the garden is very secure for young children which is very important. The staff always come to see if our meal is ok . We would like to thank Peter and family for there wonderful service , and for making us feel very welcome . ( Chris and Catherine )

Been to the pub quite a few times and never been disappointed very friendly welcome and staff, always made to feel at home sunday carvery is one of the best ive had plenty of meat and veg its been that good ive even arranged for friends and family to join me there for a social day and some good food

After church Sunday lunch! Well who wants to cook when there's a great roast dinner available? A warm welcome from a family team and all our mob were well catered for and very happy with the good value and the quality. We're going to make this a regular treat.
